Let's talk pet peeves!

What is one of your biggest pet peeves about yourself?

I sell clothes online for a living. And my goal is to help women feel confident, comfortable, and beautiful in their clothing. Because when you feel good about yourself, it truly changes your entire attitude. You have more energy, you're more confident doing your job, and generally happier and more productive.

So here's one of my pet peeves about myself. I don't take my own advice.

My morning routine looks like this: get up and grab coffee and toast and hit the couch to go through my phone and generally try to wake up and get rid of the crabbiness. I am NOT a morning person and am generally full of complaints until after I've had coffee and an hour of quiet time to wake up.

By the time I've done that, I panic about how much work I have to do and just start working. I stop for lunch, work some more, panic when dinner time rolls around because I haven't thought about dinner, order out or throw together something quickly, eat, back to work.

I generally grab a shower sometime late afternoon or evening and only get to the wear the cute clothes for a couple of hours.

UGH! Why? It's the most ridiculous thing ever! I absolutely LOVE the clothes I have and feel better and get more done when I'm dressed and feel good about myself.

So what's one of your pet peeves about yourself? Maybe we can support each other in making some changes!

EDITED ALMOST A YEAR LATER: A great example of how I used to function before I was diagnosed with ADHD. My life (and schedule) is so much less chaotic and panic-driven now that I've learned coping behaviors and have started meds.

My biggest pet peeve about myself is my procrastination. I put everything off until the last minute and then I have to rush to get things done. I hate that I do that!! You’d think I’d just change it, but alas….easier said than done. 🤦🏻‍♀️
