For Tania

One of the things I'm passionate about is building community and supporting people who need it. I've been doing fundraisers for over 5 years now and we’re starting a fundraiser tonight for my friend’s family. I first met Tania in 2005 when she and I joined an online scrapbooking community. She and I bonded as our kids grew partially because we both have daughters with medical issues. She helped Libby and I so much when Libby was in the hospital in Ohio - she lived right by the hospital.
This seems so surreal to even write - but Tania died last week at only 44. 💔 She had spinal surgery in November, ended up back in the hospital three weeks later with an infection, and then got COVID and didn’t survive. Her daughters and husband are devastated and so many of us that knew her are heartbroken.
Another scrapbooking friend set up a fund for her family and I’m going to donate 25% of all proceeds to them for the next week. Her girls are 17 and 20 and they'll need help with college and likely astronomical hospital bills. I hope you’ll be able to help and we can all shop with our hearts. ❤️
